Get Gardening Help from the Homegrown with Bonnie Plants App

It’s now officially the beginning of summer. Which means that it’s time to start gardening and growing your favorite vegetables in your backyard. Whether that be tomatoes, squash, zucchini, or another vegetable, you can now get help with the ‘Homegrown with Bonnie Plants’ app which is available on the Google Play Store. With this app, you are able to take notes on your garden, and see how your garden progresses through the season. This includes planting, watering, feeding and harvesting. This will help you next year, so you can see what did well and what didn’t do so well. Success typically comes down to the weather in your area.

On top of taking notes, you can also track your garden. The app has over 250 different vegetables and herbs so you are able to create a list for your garden. There are also a ton of articles within the app which will help you learn to grow your veggies and herbs, and have a successful garden. You can also view the weather in your location, and see whether or not there’s any rain on the way. Which is always essential to having a successful garden. By taking photos within the app, you are also able to see a visual history of everything that you grow. Allowing you to see just how far your garden has really come.

Bonnie Plants, in case you’ve never heard of them, are the most trusted provider of vegetable and herb plants in the US. They have been around since 1918. This is the first Android version of Homegrown, brought to you by Bonnie Plants – after being available on iOS for quite some time. The app is completely free, as there are no in-app purchases whatsoever. Making it a great app for those that have gardens, or want to start gardening. It’s compatible with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich and higher, which should cover just about everyone using Android these days.

Imagine if gardeners had apps like Homegrown a few decades ago, how much different gardening would be. Although it’s much different now, compared to a few decades ago, due to technology as well.
