T-Mobile is launching the HTC 10 on its network on May 18th and the carrier has announced a special promo offer for its customers who buy the device on or before May 24th. T-Mobile says it will offer an HTC Rapid Charger and an HTC Ice View case for free when its customers buy the HTC 10 in the first week of its launch on the carrier. The two freebies have a combined retail value of $85, so it is certainly a neat little offer from the un-carrier and users wanting to get their hands on the latest premium smartphone from the Taiwanese vendor will do well to hurry as the offer is only valid until May 24th or while supplies last.
The T-Mobile press release has also revealed that the offer is valid in its participating retail stores nationwide, as well as online, where the device will be up for sale from the 18th of this month. The handset comes with a full-retail price of $679.99, but qualified users can get it for $0 down and $28.34 per month for a period of 2-years on the carrier’s interest-free financing plan. While the pricing plan is unlikely to change for the worse in the forthcoming days and weeks, the Rapid Charger and Ice View Case offer is a time-limited one and will only be in place for the first week of the device’s availability on T-Mobile, as mentioned already.
T-Mobile also introduced a new promo family plan earlier this week that offers 6 GB of LTE data per line at just $30, which means four member families can actually get a combined 24 GB of data at just $120. Even with additional taxes and fees on top of that, it still represents very decent value that may interest many users. Either way, the HTC 10 itself should be a fairly powerful device, seeing as it packs in the Snapdragon 820 SoC paired with 4 GB of RAM, which means multitasking shouldn’t be too much of an issue either. However, the final verdict on the device is likely to come pretty soon once the reviews start coming out in the next few weeks.
