The HTC 10 is the latest flagship smartphone from HTC’s workshop. This device was introduced last month by the company, and it was officially announced in India yesterday, along with two mid-range smartphones. That being said, it seems like yet another HTC-branded smartphone will become available in India really soon, HTC is not kidding around. The device in question is called the HTC One M9+ Prime Camera Edition, and it is a mid-range smartphone, read on.
The HTC One M9 Prime Camera Edition has been announced earlier this month in Germany, and HTC has now introduced the One M9+ Prime Camera Edition in India. This smartphone is listed on HTC India’s eStore, and it is listed as coming soon. This smartphone sports a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Helio X10 64-bit octa-core processor, and a 2,840mAh battery is also included here. The 13-megapixel shooter can be found on the back of this smartphone, and the front-facing snapper is unspecified, at least as far as megapixels go. We do know it features f/2.0 aperture, 2-micron pixels and a 26.8mm lens though (UltraPixel camera). Android 5.0 Lollipop will come pre-installed on the HTC One M9+ Prime Camera Edition, and on top of it, you’ll be able to find HTC’s Sense UI, as usual. This device sports two front-facing speakers (BoomSound speakers with Dolby audio), and a fingerprint scanner is placed below the display, and it doubles as a physical home key. The phone measures 150.9 x 71.9 x 9.6mm, while it weighs 168 grams.
The HTC One M9+ Prime Camera Edition is quite similar to the One M9 Prime Camera Edition in terms of specifications, but its design is different. The One M9 Prime Camera Edition is basically identical to the One M9 in terms of looks, while the One M9+ Prime Camera Edition has been modeled after the HTC One M9+ it seems. The difference is, of course, the physical home button which is present on the device that was announced today in India. That being said, the One M9+ Prime Camera Edition comes in Gunmetal Grey, Silver and Gold color variants, and it is priced at Rs. 23,990 ($358) in India. Not only is it listed on HTC India’s eStore already (but not available), the India-based retailer Mahesh Telecom also claims that the device is coming soon.
