Motorola Moto G4 (aka Moto G 4th-gen) and Moto G4 Plus have been amongst the most leaked devices lately. We’ve seen a number of leaked images when it comes to these two devices, and the Moto G4 and G4 Plus components have been spotted on Zauba recently as well. Motorola has already scheduled a press event in India for May 17th, and pretty much everyone presumed that the company plans to introduce these two smartphones at that event. Well, the latest tweets Motorola India and Amazon India shared could indicate that those presumptions were spot on.
A couple of hours ago, Motorola India tweeted out the following to Amazon India: “We have been #MissingOut on a lot lately, isn’t it?”, after which Amazon India responded. In one of Motorola India’s tweets, the company pretty much teases the May 17th event again, and the company has also used the ‘#amazonexclusive’ hashtag, which suggests these two devices might be exclusive to Amazon India at first. Now, thanks to a number of leaks that have surfaced recently, we might even know what specs will these smartphones feature in the end. According to the available info, both devices might ship with a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display up front, and the Snapdragon 430 64-bit octa-core processor which comes with the Adreno 505 GPU for graphics. The Moto G4 is said to sport 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage, while the Moto G4 Plus is expected to feature 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage (also expandable). Both of these devices will sport two SIM card slots, and will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The 13-megapixel snapper will be placed on the back of the Moto G4, while you’ll be able to find a 16-megapixel unit on the back of the Moto G4 Plus, at least according to rumors. The 5-megapixel shooter will be available on the front side of both of these smartphones, and the phones might even sport water and dust resistance. The 3,000mAh battery will also be a part of the package (for both devices), and you can, of course, expect them to offer 4G LTE connectivity as well.
That is more or less it. We’ll see how accurate these specifications are soon, if everything goes according to our expectations, the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus will land on May 17th, so stay tuned for more information.
