Xiaomi’s latest device to hit the market is rumored to be the Mi Max, a phablet-sized smartphone that is said to be getting an unveiling at their upcoming event which they have scheduled for tomorrow, May 10th. Leading up to tomorrow’s event, there have been quite a few leaks on the device which even included teaser images that were posted by the company’s CEO Lei Jun over the weekend, alongside some recently published teaser videos for the Mi Max that have been published on YouTube. The latest details about the device focus on the battery life of the unannounced phone, as the official Xiaomi Twitter page, states that it will come with a battery that will last a full day.
Although there are no specifics here, consumers can likely take this to mean that the battery will be capable of lasting for at least 24 hours. If this is the case, the Xiaomi Mi Max will likely have a fairly decent-sized battery or it will end up having some notable software enhancements that look to extend the longevity of the battery life throughout the day for the user. Alongside the hint that the Mi Max will be able to last a full day on a single charge, Xiaomi is also hinting that the device will be comfortable to hold in the hand even with it being a larger device.
The Xiaomi Mi Max is rumored to come with a 6.44-inch display which is certainly larger than many people may be used to, and often times devices that are that size can be a little more challenging or uncomfortable to hold. The screen is slated to be Full HD resolution, and the phone is rumored to come with a 16MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 5MP camera on the front. It’s said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor and come with two options for storage and RAM. One with 16GB of space and 2GB of RAM, and an option for 32GB of space and 3GB of RAM. It’s also rumored to come with a 4,000Ah battery which should be capable of helping it last as long as Xiaomi is boasting in this most recent tweet.
