Galaxy S7 Sales Might Hit 25 Million Units By Month's End

Samsung had introduced the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge flagships back in February during the Mobile World Congress (MWC). The company’s new flagships resemble their predecessors quite a bit, but Samsung has improved them in many ways. The two devices now offer more grip thanks to a curved back, not to mention that they’re both water and dust resistant now, they offer a microSD card expansion, and the Galaxy S7 Edge is somewhat larger than its sibling, which gives you options. The two devices have been available for purchase for quite some time now, and have been selling really well according to Samsung’s Q1 results. Speaking of sales, new Galaxy S7 family sales info has surfaced, let’s see what’s what.

This Korea-based company has managed to sell around 10 million Galaxy S7 devices by early April, and it seems like the sales are still kicking strong. According to new reports from South Korea, Samsung’s homeland, the Galaxy S7 sales might cross the 25 million number by the end of this month. According to Korea-based analysts, the Galaxy S7 devices are successful because they launched at just the right time, they’re premium devices in pretty much every way, and Samsung has invested tons of cash into marketing for these two phones. Now, according to a separate report which comes from Pulse News, also based in Korea, the Galaxy S7 Edge is actually outselling its sibling. This report basically hints that Samsung is looking forward to great financial results for the second quarter this year, and the first half of the year in general, it will be interesting to see the company’s results when the time comes.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are both made out of metal and glass, they sport fingerprint scanners and really thin bezels. The Galaxy S7 comes with a 5.1-inch display, while the S7 Edge sports a somewhat larger 5.5-inch panel. Both of those displays are AMOLED panels, and a 12-megapixel OIS snapper is placed on the back of both of these devices. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on both devices, and Samsung’s custom UI is available on top of Google’s operating system, of course.
