The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is slated to be announced in early August, and the rumor mill has been working overtime lately bringing us a slew of rumors, and leaks about the upcoming smartphone. The latest leak is in regards to the Touchwiz UX (user experience) that may debut on the Galaxy Note 7 in August. With each flagship, Samsung does put out a new version of their UX, usually it’s slightly changed with a bit less bloatware (at least in the past few updates). This here is our first look at the updated UX, the changes, as far as we can tell, are mostly in regards to the color palette that Samsung is using in this version of Touchwiz. Now this is a leak, so it should be treated as such, which means you’ll want to take this all with a grain of salt.
One of the larger changes you’ll see is in regards to the notification pull down. Samsung has always had quick settings, a brightness slider and a few other shortcuts there. However, now they appear to take up less space. Leaving more room for actual notifications. That’s something that many users will be happy about. It seems that Samsung is going with a lighter color palette this time around. With many apps and areas of the UI being in white, with various other colors highlighting it. Like blue, green and yellow. The functionality appears to be mostly the same, at least for now. That could change before the announcement is made.
The Galaxy Note 7 has been pretty popular lately, and that’s always the case when we get close to a Samsung flagship launch. Samsung is rumored to be skipping the Galaxy Note 6 this year and jumping to the Galaxy Note 7. Speaking of which, a list of rumored specs did leak out this morning for the Galaxy Note 7. All of which are fairly likely to be a part of the Galaxy Note 7. Of course, we’ll know for sure when the Galaxy Note 7 is made official in a few short weeks – given that previous leaks about the date for Unpacked, are correct.
