Take A Look At The Official OnePlus 3 Camera Samples

After weeks and weeks of rumors and leaks, OnePlus has finally introduced their all-new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 3, earlier today. Leaks were basically spot on when it comes to the design and specs of this smartphone, and OnePlus managed to surprise everyone once again when it comes to the pricing of this smartphone. The OnePlus 3 starts at $399 in the US, and the pricing is comparable in other regions, which makes this smartphone extremely affordable considering what it has to offer. OnePlus 3 comes with a high-end set of specs, including the Snapdragon 820 64-bit octa-core SoC and a whopping 6GB of RAM.

That being said, we’ve talked about the OnePlus 3 at length already, but as it’s usually the case, the company released some additional info after the launch event. As most of you know, this device comes with the 16-megapixel OIS camera (Sony’s IMX298 sensor, 1.12um pixel size) with PDAF, and f/2.0 aperture. The device’s main camera is able to shoot 4K video at 30 FPS, and slow motion video at 720p and 120 FPS. The camera looks really good on paper, and the company has published some official camera samples to show off its capabilities. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see a number of camera samples, including some low light ones. The pictures look really good, though we’ll know far more once we test out this device in detail.

The OnePlus 3 is a metal unibody smartphone, which sports a fingerprint scanner below the display, and the physical alert slider switch is also making a comeback here. Aside from the SoC, RAM and camera info we’ve already mentioned, this device features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display, 64GB of internal storage, and comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, with OnePlus’ Oxygen OS on top of it. The OnePlus 3’s bezels are really thin, and a 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package (+Dash Charge fast charging tech). The device can be purchased without an invite this time around, which is a first for OnePlus. That is more or less it, we’re sure more OnePlus 3 info will surface in the coming days, so stay tuned.
