Video: Creo Mark 1 Review

Creo announced their first smartphone in April, dubbed the ‘Mark 1’. It’s a fairly high-end smartphone, with an asking price of Rs. 19,999, which is around $300 USD. Creo is an Indian manufacturer, which makes that pricing pretty interesting. The Creo Mark 1 does look pretty familiar, with its glass back and front as well as the metal frame. It looks fairly similar to the Amazon Fire Phone and the OnePlus X. However the Creo Mark 1 is a bit larger than both of those smartphones, since it does feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD Display. It’s also powered by MediaTek’s Helio X10 processor, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

Now we’ve already reviewed the Creo Mark 1, so if you haven’t already checked it out, be sure to do so. Now we’ve put together a pretty lengthy review video for the Creo Mark 1. It’s definitely worth taking a look. Currently, the Creo Mark 1 is only available in India, with no announced plans to bring it to other countries. It was the company’s first smartphone, and it definitely shows when using the device. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but there are a few things here that we think Creo will fix in the Mark 2. Like the battery life and the two SIM card trays (as opposed to using just one tray).

While the Creo Mark 1 did disappoint a bit in the camera department, the smartphone is still quite good overall. The camera will likely be fixed with software updates since it is the same sensor that we saw in the Xperia Z3 and the Droid Turbo. Both of which had much better cameras. On the software front, we have Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and Fuel OS on top. Creo says that they will be pushing out an update each and every month. That’s something that’s is a pretty interesting feature to tout these days. Especially in this day and age of software updates taking months and months to come out. Especially when it comes to security updates. If you’re interested in the Creo Mark 1, it’s definitely worth checking out our review video, which you can watch down below.
