Vivo X7 Pops Up Yet Again, Gets Benchmarked By GFXBench

The Vivo X7 and X7 Plus smartphones have been all over the news lately. These two devices will be announced on June 30th, the company has already confirmed, and the Vivo X7 has been certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) already. That being said, the Vivo X7 surfaced yet again, following the TENAA certification, Vivo’s upcoming smartphone has now paid a visit to GFXBench as well, read on.

The GFXBench listing more or less confirms what TENAA has revealed. The Vivo X7 will sport a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core processor, along with the Adreno 510 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel shooter will be available on the back of this device, and a 16-megapixel snapper will be placed up front, which makes this device a selfie shooting beast. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed on this smartphone, and on top of Google’s OS you’ll be able to find Vivo’s custom UI.

The TENAA listing also confirmed that the device will measure 147.3 x 71.85 x 7.24mm, and that it will weight 151 grams. The phone will be available in Gold and Rose Gold variants, and you can expect it to offer a 4G LTE connectivity as well. As far as the design goes, this phone seems like a combination between one of Meizu’s devices and an iPhone, and as you can see, this will be a mid-range smartphone. The Vivo X7 will be made out of metal, and it will probably pack in a fingerprint scanner inside of its home button.

The Vivo X7 and X7 Plus are definitely not the highest-end smartphones Vivo will release this year, not by a long shot. The Vivo XPlay 5 which was announced earlier this year is the company’s current flagship smartphone, and it offers a ‘Dual Edge’ display, similar to the one you’ll find on the Galaxy S7 Edge. That smartphone comes with the Snapdragon 820 and 6GB of RAM, and is the highest-end device this company has ever announced. Either way, we’ll let you know if any additional Vivo X7 info surfaces, until then, you can take a look at some of the device’s leaked images.
