Oukitel is a company we’ve talked about quite a few times thus far. This is a relatively small China-based company which tends to manufacture big battery phones, though they’re not releasing only big battery devices, of course. The Oukitel K4000, K6000 and K10000 were rather interesting phones, and so was the Oukitel K6000 Pro which we’ve reviewed recently. The Oukitel K7000 handset will arrive soon along with its very own battery pack which will be included in the package, and we’re here to talk about yet another handset Oukitel will release soon, their new flagship, read on.
The device in question is called Oukitel U13 Pro, and according to our source at the company, this handset will be made out of metal, and sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, Interesting enough, the source also mentioned that the phone is going to be quite thin, which kind of suggests it won’t pack in a huge battery like many of the company’s previous offerings. Anyhow, this smartphone will also pack in 3GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, and will be fueled by a 64-bit octa-core processor, though we still don’t know what SoC exactly is Oukitel planning to include here, Helio P10 perhaps? The 16-megapixel camera will be placed on the back of the device, and a 13-megapixel unit will be available on its front side. The fingerprint scanner will also be a part of this package, and so will an infrared sensor.
If you take a look at the image above, you’ll see the final design of this handset, well, a partial design that is. The fingerprint scanner will be located on the back of this phone, and you can also get a good look at its camera and the LED flash on the back. The SIM tray will be located on the right-hand side of this smartphone it seems, and Oukitel’s branding is also placed on the back of this phone. The Oukitel U13 Pro will launch in the middle of August, and will be priced at $199.99, while you’ll be able to purchase it via a number of China-based retailers, same as the company’s other devices.
