The Moto G4 Plus is arguably the most interesting of the three Moto G4 smartphones that Lenovo announced this year. The Moto G4 Plus sports the same processor as the Moto G4, but it gives the user an option for picking up a model with as much as 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Something that’s virtually unheard of at under $300. The Moto G4 Plus is available with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage for $249, or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage for $299.
Aside from offering more RAM and more storage, the Moto G4 Plus does have a few other things going for it. This includes a fingerprint sensor on the front of the device. As well as a slightly upgraded camera, which is a 16-megapixel shooter but also has both phase detection and laser auto-focus. Making for a pretty great camera, especially when you’re looking to take pictures in low-light. Another feature that really sets the Moto G4 Plus apart from other smartphones, especially at the $300 price point, is the micro SD card slot. Now, yes, most smartphones do have a micro SD card slot. But unfortunately most manufacturers have also done away with Adoptable Storage, which Google debuted in Android 6.0 Marshmallow. But Lenovo has kept it here. We popped in a 128GB micro SD card with our 64GB Moto G4 Plus, and had 181GB of storage. Definitely enough storage for most people.

The big difference this year is that Lenovo is giving us loads of choices, between the Moto G4, Moto G4 Play (which is still not available) and the Moto G4 Plus.
