AT&T Confirms Availability For The Samsung Galaxy Note 7

Samsung has finally and officially announced the Galaxy Note 7 today at their Unpacked event in New York City, and the first question on everyone’s minds is likely how much the phone will cost and where as well as when will it be available. In regards to the cost, each individual retailer will end up announcing their own prices for the device as well as when they will launch it. In regards to availability, AT&T has confirmed that they will be carrying the device and that it will be available later on this month just as with every other major retailer.

AT&T will begin carrying and selling the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on August 19th, and it will be available on their different AT&T Next plans which will break up the cost of the device over a series of months along with the monthly bill. The different Next plan prices will be $29.34 a month for 30 months, $36.67 a month for 24 months. Those who are looking at picking up the Galaxy Note 7 on AT&T’s network will be able to do so on the actual launch date, but AT&T will also be allowing pre-orders of the device, with the pre-orders beginning on August 3rd, and the phone will be available in Blue Coral, Silver Titanium, and Black Onyx.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 features a Dual edge 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a Quad HD resolution and it comes protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Galaxy Note 7 will come powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor made up of a 2.3GHz quad core chip and a 1.6GHz quad-core chip, as well as 4GB of RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage space. The device will also support expandable storage up to 256GB for those who need more space than the initial 64GB that comes on board. The phone will also have a non-removable and fast charging 3,500mAh battery inside to keep it going throughout the day. When it comes to the cameras, the Galaxy Note 7 will sport a 12MP dual-pixel camera with OIS on the back, as well as a 5MP camera on the front. For those that want to place their pre-orders, AT&T will allow consumers to pre-order the device starting on August 3rd.
