The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is official and Samsung has just begun posting its first videos that promote the device. Like all manufacturers and just like with its own past devices, Samsung has started putting out videos that highlight the Galaxy Note 7 and all of its key features. As of right now there is a video which highlights the Galaxy Note 7’s iris scanner, as well as the new UX that can be found on the Galaxy Note 7.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Galaxy Note device without the S Pen, and naturally as there are new features coming to the S Pen with the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung has also posted videos which detail the new S Pen as well as show off the S Pen being used with their Samsung Notes app. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with an Always-On display, and Samsung has a video which highlights the benefits of having such a feature as it provides details such as the time and date, battery information, social notifications, and even the song that’s playing if the user is streaming music or playing music from local storage. Samsung states that the Always-On display can even be customized by the user with things like their own image as well as different preset designs and new clock modes.
Since the Galaxy Note 7 is water and dust resistant, Samsung has a video highlighting this functionality as well, which showcases the phone being used while its under water as the S Pen writes on the display. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes equipped with a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display that’s protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and it comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU with an Adreno 530 GPU for the graphics. It’s paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with support for expandable storage up to 256GB. It features a 12MP camera on the back with OIS as well as a 5MP camera on the front, and it features the all-new iris scanner as well as a fingerprint scanner, both of which can be used for unlocking the device, while the fingerprint scanner can also be used for authorizing mobile payments.
