Google Play Store has tons of content, no matter what sort of an app or game you might be looking for, chances are you’ll find it in the Play Store sooner or later. It’s a part of our job to roam around the Play Store in search of cool new apps and games to share with you, and one such app surfaced quite recently. Now, this app is filed under the ‘Lifestyle’ category, and that is a rather accurate categorization, read on.
The app in question is called ‘Better – Life Hacks & Tips’, and it’s a rather interesting application. As its name says, it provides life hacks and tips for you to read and absorb, and those tips are categorized, so you can search for health tips, technology, food, or any other type of tips you’d like. We’ve been using this app for about a day at this point, and were quite surprised with the content. Truth be told, you’ll hardly keep finding tons of interesting stuff if you’ve used this app for a while and constantly read through the feed, but new tips keep on coming, even though the most useful ones are placed in the ‘popular’ section. Here’s how it works, you submit a life hack / tip, and other users vote it up or down, that’s how you basically get up the ladder and get your tip recognized, the better the tip, the more likes it will get, obviously. There are quite a few ‘lose weight’ tips in both food and health sections, while you might find useful tips in the technology section as well, a keyboard shortcut you were not familiar with, or a code you can use on your smartphone to get extra info or extra settings for your device. As already mentioned, there are tons of tips in there, all you need to do is browse and see what’s what.
The design of this app is also great, the developer is in tune with Google’s Material Design guidelines, so if you enjoy Material Design, chances are you’ll love using this application as well. Tips are shown in a form of cards, though unlike on most other social platforms and applications, these cards are kind of stitched together, so they don’t exactly look like cards, just one big feed. In any case, take a look at the gallery down below if you’d like to check out this app’s design before you download the app itself.
