Cyberpunk Meets Puzzle In Newly Released Deus Ex GO

Square Enix has just launched their latest mobile game, Deus Ex GO, onto the Play Store. This is the most recent fresh take on a hit franchise that is published under the Square Enix brand, retouched and reformatted for mobile. Cyberpunk meets puzzle in Deus Ex GO as you take on the role of the franchise’s lead protagonist, Adam Jensen, who must uncover a conspiracy and stop a terrorist plot using the best way he knows how – with stealth, precision, and a highly augmented body that provides Jensen with extraordinary abilities. Much like the other games in the GO series, Deus Ex GO is $4.99 and there are optional in-app purchases if you feel the need to use them.

As one would likely expect of a Deus Ex game, you’ll have augmentations at your disposal, and while some levels may require you to take out any number of armed guards who have some abilities of their own, others will ask that you hack into systems to continue on your path. There are a total of 50 story levels to complete, however it is possible to move onto some of the already available additional content. Having said that, doing so (tapping on the globe button from the level selector screen) will cause a warning message to pop up that states you may encounter spoilers of the story mode if you decide to go forward.

Deus Ex GO was teased with a short video earlier this year, leaving gamers salivating at the potential to experience the game for themselves as Square Enix merely mentioned a Summer time launch. The game was recently confirmed to release on August 18th, but showed up earlier today on the App Store for iOS players, and launching around a couple of hours ago on Google Play, arriving ahead of schedule to delight fans of the previous GO titles a bit early. It also follows another recently launched mobile title from Square Enix called Mobius Final Fantasy, a free to play RPG which blends a tiny bit of card collecting with story-based role playing elements. In addition to Deus Ex GO’s 50 story missions, there will be a new puzzle added to the game every single weekday, and for those who are going to playing the upcoming Deus Ex: mankind Divided, you’ll be able to unlock Praxis Kits for use in that game by playing Deus Ex GO. It is worth mentioning however, that unlocking the Praxis Kits is said to only be available for the PC and Xbox One versions of the game.
