Square Enix To Launch Deus Ex GO This Summer

Deus Ex is a well-known video game franchise that has been around for more than a decade and those who are fans of action RPG types as well as titles from Square Enix will likely be familiar with the series. As gaming on mobile becomes bigger and bigger, more and more large publishing companies are going to start developing more for mobile, and some, like Square Enix, have already heavily invested in the mobile gaming platform. One of their latest titles was recently revealed in a teaser trailer this morning about a week out from the upcoming E3 conference that takes place on June 15th, and it’s a built-from-the-ground-up experience for mobile, and the latest in the “GO” series of games.

Deus Ex GO will be the next game to look forward to in the series of puzzle-centric mobile games, following in the footsteps of Hitman GO and Lara Croft GO, both of which are already available on mobile with a couple of expansions that can be picked up for the game to add in more content. There is not much known about Deus Ex GO just yet, other than the fact that it will be getting a Summertime release on smartphones and tablets, and seeing as it’s already Summertime, a launch could be just around the corner.

It’s also quite likely that we will get to see a full trailer for the game at E3 next week, or even possibly a launch, so if you’re into the GO games then you’ll want to keep an eye out for it. As with both other games in the GO lineup, expect Deus Ex GO to hit the Play Store at a premium, likely around $5, and have available in-app purchases that will allow you to pick up the extra level packs as they’re released, of which there could be one or two. Naturally, Deus Ex makes sense as the next popular franchise from Square Enix to be melted down and molded into a mobile title in the GO series, as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for consoles and PC will be launching in August, so a Deus Ex GO offering fits in nicely to help get people amped up about the larger game. Now all that’s needed is for Square Enix to launch a Final Fantasy GO and all will be complete.
