Back in May, Google used their annual Google I/O event to announce two new apps and services for mobile; Allo and Duo. While some people were confused why the two apps weren’t one and the same, Duo has been released to a public that has been enjoying its simple and straightforward video calling features, but Allo has yet to officially launch in the Play Store just yet. That’s about to change shortly however, as more and more buzz surrounding both the launch of Android 7.0 Nougat as well as the Google Assistant heats up, with carriers all over the world teasing dates that aren’t too far away at all. Allo, as it was announced on stage, is a messaging application, one that features all the sorts of modern features that users have come to expect from WhatsApp as well as Facebook Messenger, albeit with a Google twist.
One of the features that users have come to expect from their messaging apps these days is of course stick packs, and according to a number of leaked images obtained from the preview version of Allo, these sticker packs will appeal to all kinds of users, even those jaded adults amongst us. According to these leaked images, it looks like users will be able to organize their sticker packs from the “My Stickers” part of the app, and that Allo will ship with three by default. More can be downloaded from the same “My Stickers” part of the app, and some of these stickers appear to be pretty NSFW by emoji standards, including cheeky poses from a character named “Julio the Bull” and even a sticker to encourage someone to send you some, shall we say risque, pictures.
All of these stickers were found inside of a test version of Allo, and while it doesn’t appear as though users will be able to add packs from outside of the Allo app itself, there appears to be plenty of variety ready for the initial launch of the app. Each of the packs seems to have 24 different stickers within, and Android Police has a full gallery of them to take a look at via the source link below.
