With the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 due to be announced tomorrow at their Unpacked event in New York City, we are still seeing plenty of leaks about the device ahead of its launch. The Galaxy Note 7 will likely be the most popular smartphone of the year, as the Galaxy Note is usually a pretty popular device from Samsung, and that will be no different this time around with the Galaxy Note 7. There have been plenty of leaks and rumors regarding its specs. Including it sporting a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor (or Exynos 8890 in other regions) with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. These specs definitely have people excited for Samsung’s next big thing.
Samsung, lately, has been working on their battery saving features in their flagships. So that their customers can get the most out of their smartphone battery, especially when they are no where near an outlet. With the Galaxy Note 7, it appears that Samsung is going a bit further with this. There will be a slider available for users to downgrade the resolution of the display for the Galaxy Note 7. This means you can downgrade that QHD display on down to Full HD (or FHD) or even HD (720p) when you need it the most. You can also limit your brightness as well as the CPU speed and background data. Some of those options have actually already been available. Being able to downgrade your screen resolution can prove to be a big feature, especially with Pokemon GO becoming such a popular game as of late.

Given all of the leaks we’ve seen of the UI on the Galaxy Note 7, that refresh definitely looks like it is happening. There’s also said to be a bit more available here in terms of personalization.
