Leaked Screenshot Seemingly Reveals Mi Note 2's Specs

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is one of the most anticipated devices of 2016. This phablet is expected to arrive in the coming months, and it is a direct successor to the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro devices which were introduced back in January last year. We’ve already seen quite a few rumors and leaks regarding the Mi Note 2 as the device has been leaking out for months basically. That being said, yet another leak surfaced in China quite recently, and like several other such leaks, it seemingly reveals Mi Note 2’s specifications, read on.

The leaked screenshot points to the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor, not the Snapdragon 821 SoC some other leaks have been touting. This screenshots also says that the Mi Note 2 will sport 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while we might also get Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed on the Mi Note 2 if this leak is to be believed. Xiaomi’s MIUI 8.6.8.26 OS is also mentioned in this leaked screenshot, which is interesting. That is pretty much it as far as the new leak is concerned, but according to previous info, the Mi Note 2 might also sport a 128GB storage variant, and a 5.5-inch or a 5.7-inch display up front. Interestingly enough, both the fullHD and QHD display variants have been mentioned in leaks and rumors, so it is possible we might get several variants of the device. Speaking of which, the high-end variant of the device is said to sport 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and a curved QHD display up front.

Based on the latest leaked images of the Mi Note 2, the device will look really sleek, though we’re still not sure how legit those leaks are, so take that info with a grain of salt, and same can be said for today’s leak as well. The Mi Note 2 will, almost certainly, going to be the most powerful device Xiaomi has even released, though we’ll have to wait for the company to unveil it in order for us to have more info to share. In any case, stay tuned, we’ll report back soon.
