LeEco (formerly Letv) is a Chinese tech giant, a company which has been present in the smartphone market since April last year. Since then, LeEco had introduced quite a few smartphones, while the LeEco Le Max 2 is the company’s current flagship. Well, if rumors are to be believed, the Le Max 2 might not be the company’s flagship for long, as the so-called LeEco Le 2S seems to be on the way, read on.
A couple of days ago, an alleged LeEco Le 2S smartphone surfaced, two real life images have popped up, and even though we did not get to see the whole device, these images did look promising. That leak also mentioned that the phone might ship with 8GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor. Now, we cannot confirm these rumors, of course, as they do seem a bit far-fetched, but we can share the newest leak with you. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see two additional alleged Le 2S, and they seem to go hand-in-hand with what we’ve seen the other day. The design of the phone’s front seems identical to the handset that surfaced the other day, though these two images are far more revealing. As you can see, the phone’s display will be slightly curved, and its side bezels will be really, really thin. The power / lock and volume rocker keys will be placed on the right-hand side of this phone, and the device itself will be made out of metal. You can also clearly see LeEco’s custom UI running on this phone, and it’s starting to seem like this is the actual device we’ll get to see announced soon.
Now, if you take a closer look at the second image in the gallery, you’ll notice LeEco’s logo, which seems to be engraved on the phone’s back cover. Now, on the bottom of the phone’s back you’ll also notice its antenna lines, which seem to be perfectly designed in order to stay out of sight, and this antenna design actually reminds us of the Meizu PRO 6 to an extent. We still do not know when will this phone arrive, but rumors are saying that might happen on September 9th. In any case, stay tuned.
