With the impending arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on retailer and carrier shelves, it does stand to reason that many businesses will be looking to clear out any existing Samsung inventory, flagship or otherwise. Over the coming months the Galaxy Note 7 is likely to be the big seller for Samsung and this does mean that few, if any, will be interested in one of the other flagship smartphones from Samsung. That is, unless they are at a good price or part of a nice promotion.
T-Mobile has wasted little time in ensuring they are able to offload some of their current Galaxy stock and almost immediately following the announcement of the Galaxy Note 7, started a promotion where you can pick up a Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge for $200 less. Sprint, were next to follow and they upped the ante a little by offering consumers the option to buy one Samsung Galaxy S7 (or S7 Edge) and get one free. Now, T-Mobile is looking to also capitalize on the BOGO market by offering their own buy one, get one promotion.
Unlike Sprint’s promotion (which starts today), T-Mobile is doing theirs as part of a one day event. So you do only have tomorrow, Saturday August 6, to take advantage of the offer. According to the details coming through, the Samsung Galaxy smartphones which will be part of the promotion include the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 Edge. As to be expected, there are some caveats in place, so both smartphones will have to picked up on an equipment installation plan (EIP) and both smartphones will require a line of service (free one will need to be a new line). Which does mean that the ‘free’ phone will become free by way of monthly credits which are credited back to your account on a monthly basis. For those interested in taking advantage of this deal, it will be available both in-store and online, although as mentioned, it is a one day only deal with that day being tomorrow, August 6.
