Telltale Games Creates Mr. Robot Game For Mobile Devices

Telltale Games has created a game for Mr. Robot that lets fans of the show more or less direct their own outcomes of situations with the show’s characters. The game, which is already available on both Google Play and the App Store, allows users to have real-time conversations with the show’s characters through an E-Corp messaging app. Much like other games from the Telltale camp, most of what can happen in this game (labeled as Mr. Robot: 1.51exfiltrati0n.apk) is directly affected by the things that are said in the conversation, similar to the way the story plays out with choices that are made in titles like Tales From The Borderlands or the recently released Batman game from Telltale that has yet to make its way to mobile.

The entire game is laid out as a messaging app so the only way to interact with the Mr. Robot universe is through texting, giving players and fans of the show a unique and life-like way of feeling like they’re actually a part of the action that can be found in the show. Telltale Games is a huge fan of letting users drive the narrative of their creations, and this game is no different. It might even seem a little more immersive than other game titles put out by Telltale simply because the show it’s based off of is heavily rooted in real-world details, which is part of the reason why the show itself has been so popular with viewers.

For those who are wanting to give the Mr. Robot game a try, the game costs $2.99 to download, but there are no in-app purchases to speak of so this is a one-time buy which should make plenty of mobile gamers happy to at least give this a shot. Those that take the leap will be plunged into the middle of events which take place during season 1 of the TV series, where you’ll talk it out with not only characters that are part of the show’s hacking group, but also the major corporation that they’re targeting, E. Corp. Once you’ve started playing the game, the narrative continues over a week long period giving it another sense of realism.
