Check Out Two Of The Latest LG V20 Commercials

While we’re still waiting for LG to announce the official release date of its latest phablet, the LG V20, the South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer has just launched two new commercials showcasing some of the cool features of its new flagship. The first one is titled “Hi-Fi Quad DAC” and just like its name suggests, it demonstrates how sweet it is to have a 32-bit digital-to-analog converter packed into your phone. The commercial claims that the V20 is capable of eliminating sound distortion and ambient noise by up to 50% which consequently deliver a better listening experience than its competitors.

The other commercial which launched yesterday is titled “Steady Record 2.0” and showcases the LG V20 camera function of the same name. Steady Record 2.0 refers to an image stabilization solution which relies on the device’s Snapdragon 820 processor which handles Qualcomm’s electronic image stabilization 3.0. It’s useful for taking pictures but it’s incredibly convenient when recording video as it uses the phone’s gyro to analyze real-time movements of your hand and processes the recorded video with a dozen or so other frames after you’re done shooting in order to smoothen it out. You can watch both commercials below.

As for the phone itself, it boasts a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display and a 160 x 400 secondary display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 on top. The V20’s MIL-STD 810G certification means it can survive any kind of regular falls while the 3,200mAh battery indicates it’s also quite capable of surviving the day without begging for a charge. Underneath the surface is Snapdragon 820 CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU, as well as 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It features 64GB of storage space and offers a microSD card slot for people those who decide that still isn’t enough. In addition to that, the LG V20 boasts a 16-megapixel rear camera featuring a lens with an aperture of f/1.8 and a 5-megapixel, f/1.9 front one. The device is also equipped with a USB Type-C port. Unfortunately, LG is yet to reveal the official US release date of the V20 but according to a rumor that surfaced just yesterday, the device may hit the US market on October 21st.
