Honor is one of the more successful China-based companies, and Huawei’s subsidy at the same time. Honor had introduced a number of really successful smartphones in the last couple of years, including the Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus, Honor 4X, Honor 5X, Honor 7 and Honor 8. The Honor 8 was introduced earlier this year as the most powerful device this company had ever released, and it has been quite popular in a number of regions since it was released, mainly due to its unique design, really solid spec sheet and a rather affordable price tag. That being said, this company is expected to release the Honor 6X in the coming weeks, as the phone had already been certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) earlier this month. Well, that certification listing did share the phone’s design, but not its specifications. Well, the phone has popped up on TENAA yet again, and this time around we get to see its spec sheet as well, read on.
As per TENAA’s listing, the Huawei Honor 6X will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device will be fueled by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 650 64-bit octa-core processor, and a 3,340mAh battery will also be included here and it will not be removable. This handset will sport two camera sensors on the back, the 12-megapixel main sensor, and a 2-megapixel secondary camera, while an 8-megapixel shooter will be placed on the front side of the device. The fingerprint scanner will be placed below rear-facing cameras, and next to them you’ll notice the single LED flash. Honor’s branding will be present on both the front and back side of this smartphone, as you can see in the images down below. The phone’s physical keys will be located on the right side of the device, and the SIM card tray will be placed on its left side. Its rear-facing camera sensors will protrude on the back ever so slightly, and the device will, of course, offer 4G LTE connectivity.
Now, as already mentioned, Huawei is expected to announce this smartphone soon, and according to the latest info that we’ve seen (which leaked yesterday), the phone could be announced on October 18th in China. This handset will be available in China first, but it will probably roll out to both Europe and the US at some point as well, and the same can be said for a number of other markets.
