Honor is Huawei’s subsidy, and a very successful company in its own right. This company had introduced quite a few successful smartphones thus far, and the Honor 8 is their latest and greatest smartphone. The Honor 5X is yet another great example of a successful smartphone from this company, this handset was introduced back in October last year, and we’re expecting Honor to introduce its successor soon. The Honor 6X was actually already certified in China not long ago, and now we have some new info regarding this smartphone to share with you, read on.
According to a new rumor from China, the Honor 6X will be introduced on October 18th. Now, do keep in mind this information is not official or anything of the sort, but if the info is accurate, Honor will certainly announce this press conference in the coming days. Now, we already have some info regarding the Honor 6X thanks to TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC), but the listing, unfortunately, did not share the device’s spec sheet. The Honor 6X will be made out of metal, and it will resemble its predecessor to some degree. Honor’s logo will be placed below the phone’s display, while the fingerprint scanner will be located on the back of this phone. Above the fingerprint scanner you’ll get two main cameras, and next to them, the company will include a single LED flash. Both the power / lock and volume rocker keys will be placed on the right-hand side of this smartphone, and the SIM card tray will be available on the left.
Now, as far as the phone’s specs are concerned, we really don’t have all that much info, but we can always guess what specs will be included here. If the company’s previous handsets are any indication, we can expect to see a 5.5-inch fullHD display included here, and in addition to that, the Honor 6X will sport 2GB / 3GB of RAM. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor will probably fuel this smartphone, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed here with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) on top of it. We still don’t know what sensors to expect on the back of this phone, but chances are Huawei will include two 13-megapixel shooters here.
