The Huawei Mate 9 is one of the most anticipated handsets this year. This is Huawei’s upcoming flagship phablet, and according to the latest info, it could launch on November 8th. Having that in mind, we’ve seen tons of Huawei Mate 9 rumors and leaks thus far, as the device has been leaking out for months now. A new leak surfaced yesterday, and showed off a couple of different color variants of the Huawei Mate 9, and as part of it, we were able to see the design of the handset itself.
That being said, a new leak just popped up, and it gives us more info when it comes to Mate 9 variants and the phone’s pricing. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see a number of different variants of the Huawei Mate 9 (all of which leaked yesterday), and along with that, the image also reveals what spec combo will be included with each color variants. It seems like three different Huawei Mate 9 variants will be available, the 4GB RAM model will come in both 64GB and 128GB storage flavors, while the 6GB RAM variant will ship with 256GB of internal storage, and that will be the highest-end model. The most expensive variant of the device will ship in Black, White, Gold, Brown, Gray and Pink color variants (these will be all the available color options), while the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model will be available in every color variant except in Black. Now, the most affordable variant of the Huawei Mate 9, the one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, will be available in White, Gold and Gray color variants, if the leaked image is to be believed.
Now, the leaked image also reveals the price points for all of these variants. The most affordable model will set you back either 3,199 Yuan ($480) or 3,399 Yuan ($510), we presume that will depend on which color option you opt for. The middle-of-the-road model, the one with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage, will cost 3,899 Yuan ($585), while the most expensive model will set you back 4,699 Yuan ($705). The Huawei Mate 9 is expected to ship with the company’s Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor, and a dual camera setup (Leica’s lenses included). The device will be made out of metal, and will, reportedly, ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with the company’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 5 on top of it.
