Leaked Image Of Xperia XZ's Deep Pink Model Surfaces

Sony’s Xperia XZ was unveiled at IFA 2016 just a few weeks ago, along with a smaller Xperia X Compact smartphone. Though Sony’s Xperia XZ is currently available only in three color variants: Forest Blue, Mineral Black and Platinum, it looks like the company is working on a more feminine color option for its flagship device, a Deep Pink Xperia XZ; Sony has already confirmed a Deep Pink Xperia XZ model in the Xperia XZ’s white paper, stating, there will be a Deep Pink version of the Xperia XZ and it will be available in select territories at an unspecified timeline, but now in a recently leaked image, we have now our first ever look at this upcoming Xperia XZ variant.

A leaked image of the Xperia XZ sporting Deep Pink color has surfaced on the web just recently, see below post. As we can see from this leaked image, a Deep Pink model of the Xperia XZ is lying on the assembly line along with a Mineral Black Xperia XZ model. Sadly, this is the only image of the Xperia XZ’s Deep Pink model available as of now. Though Sony hasn’t revealed any exact timeline for this color variant, it looks like it won’t be made available alongside aforementioned three color options, but chances are high that Sony could launch this Deep Pink Xperia XZ model ahead of the Chinese New year, which is due in January 2017, just like it has done with the Xperia Z5 in past. So if you’re interested in getting this Deep Pink model, be prepared to wait awhile.

For a recap, the Xperia XZ is a company’s flagship device which brings some major improvements in terms of design and the camera department over the Xperia X device. The Xperia XZ packs a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 CPU – with two cores running at 2.15 GHz frequency and two cores running at 1.6 GHz clock speed, and an Adreno 530 GPU for graphic processing tasks. The Xperia XZ boasts a 23-megapixel rear camera on the back with phase detection, laser autofocus, and an LED flash, while the front camera is a 13-megapixel sensor. On the memory side, the Xperia XZ packs a 3 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of internal storage with a support for MicroSD card slot. The battery on the Xperia XZ is a non-removable 2,900 mAh capacity. For availability, the Xperia XZ is now up for pre-order in Europe with an attractive deal, while there are no details available as of now for when Sony will bring this device to U.S.
