Lenovo had introduced quite a few Moto-branded smartphones this year, ranging from the company’s flagship Moto Z and Moto Z Force smartphones, all the way to the entry-level Moto E3 handset. Well, earlier this month, a report surfaced claiming that the company plans to introduce a more powerful variant of the Moto E3 in India, and that the device will be called the Moto E3 Power. Well, the company has introduced that handset in the country, let’s see what it has to offer, shall we.
The Moto E3 Power is actually quite similar to the Moto E3 smartphone, but it comes with more RAM and internal storage. This smartphone sports the same design as the Moto E3 though, its physical keys are placed on the right, while the headphone jack is placed at the very middle of the phone’s top side, as you can see in the provided image. This is a dual SIM smartphone, and it sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display. This smartphone is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6735P 64-bit quad-core SoC running at 1GHz, while the Mali-T720 GPU is also included here, and it is in charge of graphics processing. The Moto E3 Power comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The 8-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel snapper can be found up front. The 3,500mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it does offer fast charging (10W rapid charger comes bundled in). Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the Moto E3 Power, and on top of it, you’ll find several Moto apps you can use. The device measures 143.8 x 71.6 x 9.55mm, while it weighs 153.5 grams.
The device is available in Black and White color variants, while it costs Rs. 7,999 ($119) in India, and you can get it exclusively from Flipkart. That is more or less it, this is Lenovo’s entry-level Moto-branded smartphone for the Indian smartphone market, and it definitely is more powerful than the Moto E3 which was introduced earlier this year.
