Lenovo had introduced quite a few Moto-branded smartphones this year. The Moto Z and Moto Z Force are the most powerful Moto-branded devices that arrived this year, but alongside those two phones, the company had introduced some additional offerings. The Moto Z Play was announced quite recently, and the Moto E3 was introduced back in July this year. The Moto E3 is actually Lenovo’s entry-level handset, and it sports some pretty basic specifications. That being said, it seems like the company plans to announce a more powerful variant of this handset in India soon, read on.
Moto India has been teasing the arrival of the Moto E3 Power to the country for about a week now. Well, the company has now confirmed that the device will be introduced on September 19th, and that it will be available exclusively through Flipkart. The Moto E3 Power is similar to the Moto E3 handset that was introduced earlier this year, but it packs not only more RAM, but also more storage space. The Moto E3 Power will sport a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS display, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The phone will be fueled by MediaTek’s MT6735P 64-bit quad-core SoC running at 1GHz, along with the Mali-T720 GPU. The 8-megapixel shooter will be placed on the back of the Moto E3 Power, while the company will include a 5-megapixel snapper on the phone’s front side. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on this smartphone, while you can expect to see a couple of Moto apps pre-installed on the phone. The 3,500mAh battery will also be a part of this package, and you’ll be able to utilize fast charging here. As you can see, the Moto E3 Power packs a significantly more powerful battery than its sibling, as the Moto E3 comes with a 2,800mAh battery pack. On top of everything, this phone will also come with two SIM card slots.
Now, we still don’t know how much will the Moto E3 Power cost, but you can expect it to be really affordable, that’s for sure. The Moto E3 Power will be available in Black and White colors once it launches, and you can also expect some launch offers to be available as well.
