Elephone is one of many China-based smartphone manufacturers. This is a not exactly a large company, but they do tend to release rather interesting devices from time to time. The Elephone P9000 sure is an interesting phone, and it has been available for quite some time now. Well, the Elephone S7 seems to be on the way, as the company has released a new promo video, which follows tons of leaks and teasers, read on.
The Elephone S7 is a Galaxy S7 Edge look-alike, there’s no escaping that. The device is definitely inspired by the Galaxy S7 Edge, and many people would say that it’s actually too similar to Samsung’s flagship smartphone. In any case, Elephone has released a new promo video in which the company confirms Elephone S7’s design and specifications. The Elephone S7 will sport a curved display, while it will be made out of metal and glass. The device will also feature a physical home key below the display, and that button will also double as a fingerprint scanner. The device will come in both 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display variants, while it will ship with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. MediaTek’s Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor will fuel this smartphone, and a 3,000mAh battery will be available on the inside. The 13-megapixel camera will be placed on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel shooter will be available up front. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the Elephone S7, and the company will include some of their very own software on top of what Google has to offer.
We’ve embedded Elephone’s official video down below, so that you can check it out. This device will sport no bezel on the sides, mainly thanks to the curved display. Elephone has also confirmed that the phone will be available in Purple, Green and Gold color variants. We still don’t know when will this smartphone going to be officially announced by the company, but this video represents such an announcement, more or less. The device is expected to arrive soon though, so stay tuned, we’ll report back as soon as we get more info from the company.
