As we covered earlier on in the week, the OnePlus 3 is headed to its first network around the world in the UK, as he heads to O2 in the UK. This marks the first time that a device from OnePlus has been available from a retailer or network like this, and for those across the pond marks the first occasion you can get a OnePlus smartphone without having to order it online. Now, the OnePlus 3 is available to purchase from O2, starting today in the UK, and it will be in stores as well as available online. Now that it’s officially launched, we can take a closer look at the sorts of tariffs and prices that O2 has put together for the OnePlus 3.
Considering that O2 does not offer unlimited data plans in any shape, it’s no surprise that the maximum of data here is only 20GB. Even so, the OnePlus 3 will be available on a contract with nothing to pay upfront for £28.00 a month, but that only gets you 500MB of data and 500 minutes, with unlimited texts. If you want that 20B of data and don’t want to pay anything for the phone, you’ll need to cough up £44.00 a month, or £39.00 a month if you want to pay £119.99 upfront. The phone is also available upfront, for £336.00, which is more expensive than it costs from the OnePlus website, but that will unlock plans that are a lot cheaper, such as the £30.00 a month option with that 20GB of data and unlimited everything else.
Those looking to see what O2 has to offer them can take a look at the full range of tariffs by clicking the button below, and see what the OnePlus 3 is all about by reading our review here. As a quick reminder, the OnePlus 3 is packing a Snapdragon 820, 6GB of RAM, a Full HD AMOLED display, as well as near stock Android, running 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Whether or not this new move from OnePlus presents buyers in the UK with better choices is up to you, but depending on how comfortable you are buying direct from OnePlus, there could be cheaper options out there for you.
