Soft Gold OnePlus 3 Coming To India In First Week Of October

If you’re looking to get a top of the line smartphone for $399 or less, you really don’t have all that many options out there, but thanks to OnePlus and ZTE, you do have some (compelling) options. The OnePlus 3 has been introduced earlier this year, and the company did their best to pack in high-end specs, and also redesign the device in order to make it both look and feel fresh, and somewhat different than its predecessor. That being said, the OnePlus 3 was initially announced in ‘Graphite’ color variant, and the company later added the ‘Soft Gold’ variant to their portfolio as well. Both of these color variants are now available from the company in some regions, though only the Graphite color model is available in India, at least for the time being, read on.

The Soft Gold color variant is currently available in the US, Hong Kong, Canada and Europe, and India will soon join that list. The company has confirmed via Twitter that the Soft Gold OnePlus 3 model will become available in the first week of October, just in time for Diwali. The Soft Gold variant of the OnePlus 3 is actually identical to the Graphite model in terms of design and specifications, it only looks considerably different thanks to a different paint job. The front side of the device is white, not black as on the Graphite variant, and the back side is Gold-colored (or Soft Gold, as OnePlus calls this color), while the Gray (aka Graphite) color is placed on the back of the other variant. The Soft Gold OnePlus 3 model will cost Rs. 27,999 ($422) in the country, just like its Graphite counterpart.

The OnePlus 3 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of non-expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core SoC, along with the Adreno 530 GPU. On the back of this phone you’ll be able to find a 16-megapixel OIS camera, while there’s an 8-megapixel snapper available up front. The 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the device, along with the company’s OxygenOS UI. The fingerprint scanner / capacitive home key is placed below the display, and the phone is made out of metal.
