T-Mobile: Free Data In South America & Europe Through 2016

Just before the Summer Olympics kicked off in early August, US network carrier, T-Mobile, announced that it would be offering unlimited free high-speed data and calls to all its postpaid customers who traveled to Rio, and also to those who traveled to Europe throughout the summer. On top of that, the carrier went on to extend the offer for the Paralympic games and also gifted the families of US Paralympic and Olympic athletes alike with a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, as well as a Samsung Gear 360 camera. While that was pretty great for T-Mobile customers, considering the fact that you would not need to pay absurdly high roaming charges, T-Mobile is back with a new offer. This time round, the carrier has announced that it would be extending the offer through the end of the year.

In the press released which was released by T-Mobile today, John Legere, the Chief Executive Officer and President of T-Mobile said that the carrier is always trying to give its customers more, and when T-Mobile found a way to extend its free unlimited high-speed data offer, Legere totally agreed with it. This means that until the beginning of 2017, T-Mobile postpaid customers will be able to enjoy unlimited high-speed data throughout South America and 19 European countries, for free. The carrier also released some statistics regarding its customers data usage throughout July and August, with the carrier stating that its customers used 3 times more data throughout the period, compared to the same period last year.

The South American countries where T-Mobile customers will be able to enjoy unlimited high-speed data are: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Easter Island, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela. As for the European countries where the offer will be available for T-Mobile customers include: Armenia, Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. If you are a T-Mobile postpaid customer and planning to travel to any of the listed countries above this year, then make the most out of this offer and don’t worry about roaming charges as T-Mobile assures you that there won’t be extra cost on top of your current plan.
