Xiaomi is one of China’s largest smartphone manufacturers. This company has been around for 6 years, and they’ve managed to become China’s number 1 smartphone manufacturer in less than 5 (years). Xiaomi is not at the very top of the food chain in China any longer, though, their market share did slip a bit due to fierce competition and what not, but the company is trying to regain market share and once again get ahead of the pack. The company had introduced two new flagship handsets yesterday, and it seems like they’re in high demand in China. That being said, some new Xiaomi-related info just surfaced, read on.
Xiaomi plans to open 1,000 stores by 2020 according to the company’s CEO, Lei Jun. This Chinese company currently has only 25 stores in China, so this would be quite a big leap for them. “We want consumers to touch and test our products with the core technologies in the stores. We have adapted our strategies,” said Lei Jun. In addition to this, Lei Jun flat out said the following: “Xiaomi will open 1,000 stores by 2020,” which more or less confirms that we’ll see quite a few new offline stores opened up by 2020. The company’s offline stores offer you a chance to check out Xiaomi’s products, get some hands-on time with them before you purchase them. There are tons of Xiaomi’s gadgets available in such stores, including smartphones, routers, Mi TV sets… and even the company’s water purifier, electric rice cooker and air purifier. These are just some examples, of course, Xiaomi had introduced quite a few smart gadgets over the years, and if you’re looking to enter the Mi ecosystem, it might be a good idea to visit one of Xiaomi’s offline stores and see what the company has to offer.
Now, this company had introduced a couple of new products yesterday, in addition to announcing their new flagship smartphones, which we’ve mentioned earlier, the company had also introduced two new smart TVs, the 55-inch and 65-inch Mi TV 3S units. These new devices are expected to be displayed in Xiaomi’s offline stores soon, just in case you’re interested in checking those out.
