Amazon has been looking for ways to bring more and more features to their existing Amazon Prime subscription that millions of people already subscribe too. Recently, Amazon has added a slew of new features, including Prime Music, allowing their Prime members to get access to free streaming music, as long as they are still a Prime member. Now, their latest feature is Prime Reading, which brings you unlimited Kindle books, magazines and so much more. And the best part is that it is free. It is included in the existing $99/year Amazon Prime subscription.
In their press release from today, announcing the new feature, Amazon touts that you’ll be able to read some of their best-selling Kindle books, which include The Man In The High Castle, The Hobbit, The Millionaire Next Door, and many more. Comics are also included here, like Transformers: Robots in Disguise Vol. 1, and The Complete Peanuts Vol. 1. When it comes to magazines, you’ll have access to the latest issues of premium digital magazines like National Geographic Traveler, Sports Illustrated, HGTV and many more. The best part about this is the fact that you don’t even need to pick up a Kindle device to take advantage of Prime Reading. However, they have marked down their Kindle devices by $50 right now. You can instead use the Amazon Kindle app that is available for Android, iOS and Fire OS. Meaning that $50 Amazon tablet you bought, just became a whole lot more useful.
Amazon Prime is available for just $99/year, which works out to about $8.25/month. It offers all sorts of perks that Amazon users absolutely love. Of course the popular perk that got most people to sign up was the free two-day shipping, or $3.99 for next-day delivery. That’s something that many users love, especially those that order quite often from Amazon, which is the majority of people these days, given how many items the retailer sells. If you haven’t already signed up for Amazon Prime, you can still check out a free trial of the service, and even take the new Prime Reading service for a spin if you wish to do so.
