We’ve seen tons of affordable flagships introduced thus far in 2016, the OnePlus 3, ZTE AXON 7, LeEco Le Pro 3, Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, etc. Well, in case you’re interested in sheer power, then AnTuTu scores might interest you. This benchmarking site has just released a list of most powerful smartphones for September (top 10 list), and the results might surprise you, read on.
Let’s kicks things off by taking a look at the top three smartphones on this list (first image in the gallery down below), the iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7 and the LeEco Le Pro 3. These three smartphones have scored 172,644, 170,124 and 160,856 points, respectively. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are well ahead of the rest of the pack in terms of sheer benchmarking power, mainly thanks to that A10 Fusion chip and the fact that neither of these devices sport a QHD display. The LeEco Le Pro 3 did great here, and that handset is followed by the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, Xiaomi Mi 5s and the OnePlus 3. The Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus have scored 153,777 and 142,280 points, respectively, while the OnePlus 3 scored 140,288 points, which are all great results, of course. Now, the last four phones on this list are the Vivo XPlay 5 (138,706 points), Galaxy Note 7 (138,373 points), LeEco Le Max 2 (138,026 points) and the Nubia Z11 (137,685 points).
There you have it, the top 10 smartphones for September 2016 according to AnTuTu. Benchmark results really don’t have to mean anything in terms of real life performance, but they sure are a guideline as to how powerful a certain smartphone is in terms of processing and various other factors, though software is the key, of course. All of these smartphones feature incredibly powerful hardware on the inside, and these benchmarking differences are really not all that important, as pretty much every smartphone on this list is incredibly powerful. Now, if you take a look at the second image in the gallery down below, you’ll get to see the most powerful iOS devices, while the third image in the gallery shows off the most powerful Android devices only. The year is still not over, and there are still a couple of really powerful phones that we’re expecting, some of which could be included on AnTuTu’s end of 2016 top 10 list, like the Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL and the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, for example.
