Elephone is a China-based company we’ve talked about a number of times thus far. This might not be an extremely popular company like Huawei, Xiaomi or OPPO, but they have been releasing really interesting devices lately. Elephone’s P9000 smartphone has been selling really well ever since it was released, and the company had announced the extremely affordable, metal-clad Elephone C1 smartphone recently. That being said, their Elephone S7 flagship which sports a curved display on both sides will be released soon, and we know pretty much everything about it at this point.
That being said, it seems like Elephone is getting ready to introduce yet another smartphone with a curved display in the coming months. This new smartphone will not only sport a curved display, but also a ceramic back cover, similar to what the Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro has to offer. This essentially means that the back cover of this smartphone will be far more durable than regular glass, as it will be resistant to scratches, and it also looks quite appealing, of course. Now, if you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see two images of this smartphone that surfaced online, one of which gives you a closer look at the curved display of the upcoming device. That is pretty much all the info we have at the moment though, we still have no idea when will Elephone introduce this smartphone, nor what specs it might carry. That being said, considering the premium material Elephone intends on using here, chances are this smartphone will go head-to-head with the Elephone S7, it is even possible this might be a new variant of the Elephone S7, who knows.
The Elephone S7 is set to launch in both 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch variants, while it will pack in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. MediaTek’s Helio X20 64-bit deca-core SoC will fuel this smartphone, and a 13-megapixel snapper will be placed on its back. Chances are that this new handset will sport similar specs to the ones listed for the Elephone S7, we’ll report back as soon as more info pops up, stay tuned.
