Leak: Higher Res Images Show Up Of Blue Pixel & Pixel XL

New high-resolution images have now shown up for the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL in Blue, alongside high-resolution images of the phones in Black and Silver, just hours before Google’s October 4th event is about to kick off. All of these colors have been leaked prior to now, but these appear to be the most clear pictures and highest detail of the phones to date. The Blue color of the press render, which initially leaked through Verizon’s website yesterday, can be seen from a couple of different angles in the image above. It also isn’t the first time the Blue color was mentioned, as a mocked up render and details of the Blue device surfaced earlier this year and was reported by Android Police.

With what very well could be all three of the official colors for the Google Pixel and Pixel XL now out in the open, all that seems to be left still is when Google will launch the devices and how much the actual cost of each phone is going to be in their respective storage size options, which are rumored to be 32GB for the base model, and 128GB for the model with more space. Having said that, the Pixel in 32GB has been rumored to cost $649, which gives a rough estimate of what consumers may be looking at for the prices of the 128GB model of the Pixel as well as the cost of both storage size options for the Pixel XL.

When it comes to the specifications, all of the detail was leaked Sunday evening thanks to the listing of both phones at the Carphone Warehouse website, which seems to have confirmed much of the specs that were suspected leading up to now, along with a few surprises, such as the addition of support for expandable storage up to 256GB, although there is still no confirmation from Google that expandable storage is actually part of the features despite it being listed. Both the Pixel and the Pixel XL are due to be announced officially later this morning, and both phones are expected to go up for pre-order today, with shipments potentially happening later this month.
