Leak: More Images Surface Of Xiaomi Mi Note 2

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has leaked again with a new batch of what appear to be live images of the device, and what is likely the most notable detail is that they show off a display with some rather curvy edges. This wouldn’t be the first time that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was discussed in reference to a curved edge screen, as rumors which surfaced prior to today have already suggested as much. While there is no confirmation as of yet from Xiaomi themselves that the Mi Note 2 will have a curved edge screen, it wont be long before that information goes public as Xiaomi are slated to announce the phone on October 25th, which is just next week Tuesday.

Aside from the curved display, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is also expected to use a Quad HD AMOLED panel, and come with a screen size that sits at 5.7-inches which would seem about right for a device with the word “Note” in its name. That screen as well as all of the other hardware will reportedly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, which of course would come with an Adreno 530 GPU for the graphics processing. For memory it’s rumored that the Mi Note 2 will come in at 6GB, which so far has only been implemented by one other company – OnePlus with their most recent phone launch, the OnePlus 3. Having said that, the 6GB of RAM is only to be for one model which comes with 128GB of internal storage, while there is also said to be a 4GB RAM model available that will have 64GB of internal storage as well.

Judging by the new set of leaked images, the Mi Note 2 will come in at least a Black color, although Xiaomi do typically launch phones in more than one color. As far as the rest of the specs go, the most recent leak states the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will have a dual rear camera configuration comprised of two Sony sensors, which include a 23MP IMX318 sensor and a 12MP IMX378 sensor. For the front-facing camera the Mi Note 2 is said to have an 8MP sensor taking care of selfies and video chat. It’s also rumored to have a bevy of other sensors and connectivity functionality, including NFC, a fingerprint sensor, an iris scanner, and the obvious Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth connectivity. Battery wise it’s said to come with a 4,100mAh capacity battery, which should be plenty to keep the device going.
