LG V20 Officially Heading to T-Mobile on October 28th

The LG V20 was announced last month, and the company announced that the device would be available later that month. Well it was, but only in South Korea. There is still little known about when it’ll be available in the US, however, T-Mobile did just announce that their variant will be available beginning October 28th, about three weeks from now. In their press release, they did not mention how much the device will be, but we should know in the next few weeks. However, T-Mobile did take a moment to boast about the LG V20 being the first smartphone to run on their new LTE AWS-3 spectrum (that’s band 66 for those keeping track), which means your device will be capable of getting even faster speeds on the T-Mobile network.

T-Mobile will also have a pretty sweet freebie for those that order the LG V20 through them. Everyone that orders a T-Mobile LG V20 will get a pair of Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H3 headphones for free. These headphones will normally cost you around $149, so it’s a great freebie to have added onto the LG V20. And with the device already having a number of amazing audio features, like the quad DAC that’s inside, it’s not surprising to see this pair of headphones included for free.

Don’t forget that the LG V20 was the first device announced with Android 7.0 Nougat (and technically, it’s still the only device, since the Pixel and Pixel XL from Google are sporting Android 7.1 Nougat). Other specs on the LG V20 include a 5.7-inch 2560×1440 resolution display, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM. There is 64GB of storage included, along with a micro SD card slot that can support up to 256GB of storage. Camera-wise, there’s dual 16-megapixel sensors around back with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. And the whole package is powered by a removable 3200mAh battery.

T-Mobile isn’t the only carrier that will be carrying the LG V20, Sprint, Verizon and AT&T will also carry it. However, none of them have yet to announce when it will be on sale. That is likely only a matter of time though.
