Oukitel is one of the smaller Chinese smartphone manufacturing companies, that doesn’t mean that they don’t release compelling smartphones though, we’ve seen a number of interesting devices come from Oukitel in the last couple of years. This company had released quite a few big battery smartphones, like the Oukitel K6000 and Oukitel K10000, for example. Well, those of you who are looking for an extremely affordable metal-clad smartphone which comes with a really nice set of specs, you might want to read on, as Oukitel has just introduced yet another budget smartphone.
The company has unveiled the Oukitel U15 Pro, which is now available for pre-order. In addition to the metal body, this smartphone comes with three capacitive buttons below the display, menu, home and back, respectively, not to mention that it packs a fingerprint scanner on the back. All in all, this device looks really compelling for such a cheap smartphone. The Oukitel U15 Pro features a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, along with the Mali-T720 GPU. The 16-megapixel camera can be found on the back of the Oukitel U15 Pro, while a 5-megapixel snapper is placed on its front side. This is a 4G LTE smartphone (FDD: Band 1/3/7/8/20), while you’ll also get two SIM card slots here (2 x micro SIM). The 3,000mAh battery is included here as well, and it is not removable. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the Oukitel U15 Pro, while you’ll also get some of Oukitel’s software features on top of Google’s OS, like a set of off screen gestures, for example. The Oukitel U15 Pro measures 153.2 x 78 x 8.7mm, while it weighs 201.1 grams, which doesn’t exactly make it one of the lightest phones out there.
