Unlikely Mi Note 2 Design Leaks Yet Again, Bezels Begone

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of this year. Xiaomi’s flagship phablet is expected to arrive either later this month, or next month at the very latest. That being said, the Mi Note 2 had surfaced a number of times thus far, and we’ve seen a ton of different designs being shared by various sources. The latest leak actually showed us a rather shocking design, if you click here, you’ll get to see the alleged Mi Note 2 which sports basically no bezel on the top, or its sides, which reminded us of Sharp’s Aquos Crystal and Aquos Xx smartphones which came with a similar design. Well, those two phones did not have any bezel on the sides or at the very top, but they did come with a rather sizeable chin down below. Well, the alleged Mi Note 2 surfaced once again now, does it have a similar chin to Sharp’s offerings? Well… read on.

If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see the alleged Mi Note 2 in the flesh. Now, this seems to be a concept design a the very best, so truth be told, we do not expect Xiaomi to introduce this smartphone anytime soon, which probably means that this is not the Mi Note 2, no matter how bad we want it to be. This phone basically has no bezel, aside from the metallic trim all around the phone, the earpiece doesn’t seem to be present here either, unless it is implemented at the very top of the device. This is either Xiaomi’s official, or a third-party concept design, there’s a very good chance we won’t see a smartphone like this hit the market anytime soon. The Mi Note 2 will, however, sport a really sleek design, at least if rumors and leaks are to be believed. We’ve seen a number of leaks suggest that the Mi Note 2 will resemble the Galaxy Note 7, that it will sport a curved display on its left and right side.

Now, the Mi Note 2 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, along with 6GB of RAM and a couple of different internal storage options. The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core SoC, just like the recently-announced Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus smartphones. The Mi Note 2 will, probably, sport a dual camera setup on its back, and we do expect this phone to ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the company’s MIUI 8 OS pre-installed on top of it.
