It’s not every week that a major player from China tries their hand at breaking into the West, but that’s just what happened this week with the launch of the LeEco brand making its way Stateside. A lot of people might not have any idea of who LeEco are, and that might have something to do with the fact that they used to be known as LeTV, before changing their name some time ago. Android Headlines readers might be more familiar with the brand as the creator of some quality pieces of hardware where smartphones are concerned. The firm is bringing the Le Pro 3 and Le S3 to the United States as well, and as we took a look earlier today, they offer some excellent value for money. Now, it’s time to look at the new range of Super4 X Android TVs.
As we covered in our post yesterday, the Super4 X series of Android TVs will be available in 43-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch models. All of them feature 4K displays, Android TV and sound by Harman Kardon. Given that they only cost $649, $899 and $1,399, respectively, there’s going to be some interest in these new models. Especially when we consider that, during the flash sale on November 2nd, each purchase will come with an instant rebate of $200, further reducing the price down further. The big hill that LeEco needs to climb at this time of year is whether or not customers will be looking to purchase one of these before Black Friday or wait for discounts on, other, better-known brands.
These LeEco Super4 X models are packed full of technology, such as 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, a 64-bit Quad-Core CPU and of course, the latest version of Android TV, too. What’s also important is that these produce a great-looking picture above everything else. Those interested in whether or not an unknown can bring some much-needed competition to the Smart TV market in the US can take a look a look at the video below for a closer look. Those interested in getting their hands on one will need to head on over to Lemall on November 2nd to place an order.
