The Xiaomi Mi MIX is one of the two phablet devices Xiaomi had introduced yesterday. The Mi MIX had managed to surprise quite a few people, as very few of them expected Xiaomi to release such a device next to the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Now, these two phones share some specs, but they’re essentially quite different. The Mi Note 2 is Xiaomi’s new flagship phablet with a curved display, while the Mi MIX is a bezel-less phablet which sports a huge 6.4-inch display, and has a 91.3% screen-to-body ratio, and looks quite sleek because of it. That being said, the Mi MIX is also a flagship device, though it’s significantly different than the Mi Note 2.
Having that in mind, Xiaomi had introduced only the Black variant of the Mi MIX yesterday, and the company did not say whether new color options will become available at some point. Well, it seems like a White variant of this device could be on the way, considering the fact that this phone has just surfaced. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see the white Xiaomi Mi MIX in the flesh. Now, the black variant of the Mi MIX certainly seems more immersive than the white one, mainly because of its black frame, but this device also looks great, especially if you prefer white-colored smartphones. In any case, this is a limited edition smartphone, so keep that in mind. We still don’t know when will Xiaomi officially release the White variant of the Mi MIX, but we’ll keep you posted.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX features a 6.4-inch 2048 x 1080 display, 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of non-expandable internal storage. This handset is fueled by the Snapdragon 821 SoC, along with the Adreno 530 GPU. On its back, you’ll find a 16-megapixel EIS shooter, while a 5-megapixel snapper is placed on the phone’s front side. The 4,400mAh battery is included on the inside, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed here with the company’s MIUI 8 OS on top of it.
