The Google Store Adds Even More Pixel & Pixel XL Cases

Google is filling up the Google Store with all kinds of new goodies, and this includes accessories for Google’s two newest smartphones – the Pixel and Pixel XL. Earlier Google began listing the new Google Earth and Google Trends live cases which were initially listed over at Verizon’s website first, and now it seems Google is adding one more live case option to the mix with new live cases from Jeremy Scott. Of course, if you’re not the type who cares for the live cases and would rather have something that was designed to be a little bit more durable to protect your new phone, the Google Store is now listing Otterbox Defender Series cases for both the Pixel and the Pixel XL as well.

Unlike the Earth and Trends live cases, the ones from the Jeremy Scott collection are will cost $40 instead of $49.99, and they’re actually available to buy right now. There are nine total designs to choose from in this particular live case collection, and the Jeremy Scott cases are not just available for the Pixel and the Pixel XL as you can also grab them for the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.

As far as the Otterbox Defender Series cases go, since these are meant to be more durable offerings, they will cost the consumer a little bit more than the live case offerings as the Google Store has them priced at $59.95. That being said, Otterbox has been known for its extremely tough cases for a large selection of phones over the years, and the Defender Series is made with three layers of protection which includes the foam-lined inner shell, the outer slip cover, and the built-in screen protector so your phone is literally covered from head to toe. Worth mentioning is that while they are rather durable, they’re not waterproof so you may want to look at other options if that’s a feature that you’re interested in. Just as with the Jeremy Scott live cases, the Otterbox Defender Series cases for both Pixel phones are available to buy as of now, and it looks like they have stock for both the Pixel and the Pixel XL models so no matter which device you picked up you shouldn’t have to worry about not getting a hold of one.
