Huawei P10 Leaks With A Curved Display, Dual Camera Setup

Huawei is currently one of the most successful smartphone manufacturing companies out there. This China-based company is currently the third-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, and they are planning to overthrow Apple and take that second place in a couple of years. Huawei had already sold over 100 million smartphones in 2016, they’ve crossed that number a couple of months ago, and it will be interesting to see how many smartphones can they sell by the end of this year. For comparison’s sake, Huawei had sold 109 million devices in 2015, and they have surely crossed that number already in 2016.

That being said, this company had introduced a number of compelling smartphones this year, including their Huawei P9 devices. The Huawei P9 was introduced back in April, along with the Huawei P9 Plus, and the Huawei P10 started popping up online a couple of weeks ago. We’ve seen two versions of this device surface, one sporting a home button below the display, and the other one shipping with a Huawei logo instead of the home button. Well, yet another leak just surfaced, and it shows off a black variant of the phone without a home button below the display, which is something we haven’t seen thus far, all black models sported a home button down there. As you can see, Huawei’s branding is included down there, and this phone’s display is curved, while the fingerprint scanner is placed on the back of the phone. Above the fingerprint scanner, you’ll notice two camera sensors, the LED flash, and Leica’s branding, which means that the Huawei P10 will also ship with Leica’s lenses, though that’s something we already knew. The power / lock and volume rocker keys will be placed on the right-hand side of this smartphone, as you can see in the provided image.

Now, as far as specs are concerned, the Huawei P10 is expected to ship with a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, though it is possible Huawei will introduce two variants of this smartphone. The company’s Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel this smartphone, and 6GB of RAM could be included on the inside, along with 256GB of storage, at least according to rumors. Android Nougat will come pre-installed on the device, either Android 7.0 or Android 7.1 Nougat, and on top of it, you’ll get Huawei’s custom UI, Emotion UI (EMUI) 5.0. The phone is expected to land in April, though nothing has been confirmed just yet.
