Images Of Alleged Huawei P10 Prototype Pop Up

Huawei had launched quite a few high-end smartphones this year, including the Huawei P9, Huawei P9 Plus, Huawei Mate 9, Huawei Mate 9 Pro and Porsche Edition Mate 9. Out of these five handsets, the Huawei P9 and Huawei P9 Plus were the first ones to arrive, as they were announced back in April. These two phones were the first Huawei-branded smartphones that shipped with Leica’s lenses, as part of Huawei’s partnership with Leica. That being said, the Huawei P10 announcement is still almost 6 months away, at least if Huawei plans to stick to their schedule, but we’re already seeing Huawei P10 leaks all over the place. A couple of days ago a mysterious Huawei LON-L29 smartphone surfaced on GFXBench, and that could possibility be the Huawei P10, and now some real life images of the device surfaced, read on.

If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see two newly-leaked images of the alleged Huawei P10 handset. Looking at the phone from the front, it actually resembles the Xiaomi Mi 5s, mainly due to the general form factor and the looks of the home key / fingerprint scanner which is placed below the display. This is allegedly a prototype smartphone, which explains why Huawei’s branding is not present here, though that is to be expected considering it’s only November and this device will not launch anytime soon, so this design is probably far from confirmed. In any case, you’ll notice that the phone is made out of metal, and that it features two cameras on the back. These two camera cameras will probably carry Leica’s branding yet again, and Sony’s sensors will probably be included on the inside, as it was the case with Huawei’s high-end devices this year.

If a recent GFXBench listing is to be believed, the Huawei P10 will sport a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of native storage. The phone will be fueled by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor, along with the Mali-G71 GPU. That is more or less all the info we have at the moment, though we’re sure we’ll see a ton more leaks before Huawei introduces this smartphone, so stay tuned.
