Pink Blossom Samsung Galaxy S7 Now Available In South Korea

When Samsung first introduced its flagship duo, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge back in February of this year, both devices were available in quite a number of colors. One of those colors was Pink Gold, but now, the South Korean company has released a new color for the Galaxy S7, which is being called Pink Blossom. Basically the new color option is a Pink Gold Galaxy S7, but without the gold. Similar to how the Blue Coral color is reserved exclusively to the Galaxy S7 Edge, the Pink Blossom color is reserved exclusively to the Galaxy S7, at least for now.

However, if you reside outside of South Korea and are planning on getting the new Pink Blossom colored Galaxy S7, then you are out of luck, as the new color is being sold exclusively in South Korea, at least for the time being. Oddly, the only storage option available for the new color variant at the moment is a model with 32GB. Now, while it is a new color, nothing else about the Pink Blossom colored Galaxy S7 has changed internally. If you purchase one, it still comes with a 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED display. Under the hood it packs 4GB of RAM, and only 32GB of internal storage, but it does also support expandable storage through a microSD card slot. This handset is fueled by an Exynos 8890 SoC as it is a South Korean variant. The 12-megapixel camera (f/1.7 aperture) is placed on the back of the Galaxy S7, while there’s a 5-megapixel snapper up front. The Pink Blossom Galaxy S7 is also still IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, and packs in a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. Software wise, it comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box along with Samsung’s very own TouchWiz UI.

The Pink Blossom Galaxy S7 might be a limited edition offering and if it does not see a release outside of South Korea, it is likely that third party sellers will sell this device for a significant markup to those outside of country who would be willing to get their hands on this new edition. The price of the Pink Blossom Galaxy S7 in South Korea is the same as the other Galaxy S7 color variants, so those within the country at least, won’t expect to have to pay more.
