After the Polls Close Tuesday, Google Will have The Results

In the US, this Tuesday is the big presidential election. Which means the presidential candidates are on a mad dash to the finish line, campaigning in swing States ahead of the election tomorrow. But what about finding out who actually won the election? There are loads of places to find out the results, like CNN, CNBC, CBS News and just about every other news channel on TV. But for those that are cord-cutters, using Google may be the best way to get the results. Google announced today that they will have detailed results as soon as the polls close on Tuesday evening.

It’s pretty simple to find the results, just simply search for “election results” and you’ll be able to see where Clinton and Trump are in terms of electoral votes. You’ll also be able to see the other races for the House and the Senate which are also up this year. There is also a place for the Governors that are up for re-election, and you can choose your State to see the results for that race. It’s a great all-in-one place for everyone to get detailed results about the election. As this is one of the most important elections in recent memory.

President Barack Obama has been getting the word out to tell everyone to vote, as has First Lady Michelle Obama. Voting is crucial in every election, as many people believe that their vote won’t make a difference, but it really does, and it makes an even bigger difference in this election which can change the future of the US not just for the next four or eight years, but much further into the future. Polls open on November 8th, and close at about 8PM in most places. You can also use Google to find out where you need to go to vote, as well as finding out what time your polling place closes.

YouTube is getting in on the action as well, doing live coverage from a slew of media partners on election night. This includes NBC, PBS, Bloomberg and a few others. So you can watch the post-election coverage live from YouTube instead of needing to have a TV nearby.
